Every second Thursday of the month, The West Philadelphia Orchestra plays from 10PM ’til closing time at Tritone. The price is right ($5 cover), the music is great and the crowd couldn’t be more enthusiastic. It’s a dance party where people dance their pants or skirts off- practically literally- Tritone heats up so much, you’ll feel like it’s a mid summer’s evening in Riga.
The fifteen piece band plays crowded onto a tiny stage and periodically comes into the crowd to dance themselves. The drinks are cheap starting with the famous Pabst and a shot special for $3. You’ll spend a lively night dancing like a gypsy while the wind is howling outside. And they play in the summer too. You’ll have so much fun you wont mind the sweat.
