Booking Alert!
Got a decent band? Have a few dozen thirsty friends? OPEN DATE: 12/7, 12/11. We are currently looking for performers interested in monthly shows on Sunday and Monday nights.
Booking Guidelines
Booking inquiries are accepted through e-mail only. Address your inquiry to booktritone@comcast.net.
Include your act’s title in the subject of your e-mail. This will be of assistance in locating your info. Also, if you are interested in specific dates, it is helpful to include those in the subject as well, in the form month/date (e.g. 6/23.)
In your e-mail, please include a description of your act, the dates (or days) you are interested in, and an estimate of how many people will come to your show.
Your chances of being booked are greatly assisted if you propose a full bill of bands for a specific night. Out of town bands, especially if you are not well known, will be expected to provide local support. Typically, Tritone has two or three bands on weeknights, and three or four bands on weekends.
Sorry, but it is impossible to respond to every booking request. If your act doesn’t satisfy an immediate need, or you have included insufficient information about your act, your request will be hundreds past in a couple of days. Please feel free to inquire repeatedly.
Tritone is a bar, and persons (performers included) must be at least 21, or accompanied by a parent, to enter. We have no facilities for all-ages shows.
Booked Acts
Once you have been booked, Tritone has a P.A., mics, stands and cables for your use. If you wish to have a sound man, one is available at a cost of $40 for the first act, $10 for each additional act. He has a lot of additional processing gear and can be contacted directly at scottparker@comcast.net.
Cover is usually $5, but you may set your own cover. Performers receive the entirety of the money collected, unless you hire the sound man, or extra security is required.
For our Events Calendar, please e-mail us the following:
- JPGs or links to your poster art and photos. Acts with pretty artwork or photos will get slideshow preferences on our Home page.
- A concise show description, with reasons why people should see you and the name of members in your group.
- Optionally, a link to your best YouTube video.
- Also optional, links to MP3s song samples hosted on your own web site, PodOmatic, or other music hosting services.
- A link to your web site or your ReverbNation, MySpace or Facebook page.
You can see an Events Listing with the whole enchilada at this page.
Other than a listing on our Events Calendar, acts are responsible for all promotion, including radio, print, and posters. If you want your posters in our windows, deliver them personally or mail them to the bar.
